Villeneuve-Loubet uses the most ecological mode of transport in the world: the bicycle!
Since the 1990s, aware of the potential of its territory and the environmental impact, the municipality of Villeneuve-Loubet was the first resort on the Côte d'Azur to integrate soft mobility into its modes of transport.
After an initial cycle connection between the village and the college, the municipality created "La Villeneuvoise", a shared cycle and pedestrian network, both utilitarian and recreational, a real link between the seaside and the interior. The Tourist Office has followed this dynamic and has been awarded the "Accueil Vélo" label for its commitment to offering a special welcome and services to cyclists.
To date, the municipality offers more than 20 km of cycle routes, to which can be added the paths of the natural parks. It is one of the stage towns of the Mediterranean by Bike / EuroVélo8, a European cycle route that passes through the South of France.
