A few steps from the sea, the Vaugrenier departmental nature park is a protected site of 103 hectares with large meadows and play areas for the public. Beautiful mixed forests shelter a rich Mediterranean vegetation and fauna. The site was already attractive to the Romans, as archaeological excavations have brought to light ancient remains. One of the must-sees of the park is its natural freshwater coastal pond, which is home to an exceptional biotope with two observatories. By following the paths of the park it is possible to make a forest circuit over 5 km, to stroll in the middle of a magnificent collection of cork oaks or to prepare your Trail. Starting from the central car park, a signposted health trail accompanies the runner from station to station (fitness and workshops).
